The Arizona Center for STEM Teachers (ACST), in conjunction with the Arizona Public Service Foundation is excited to offer its sixth Summer Institute on the marvelous campus of Biosphere 2. The ACST Summer Institute has been designed to merge your teaching practice with the world of Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics by invigorating your passion for education with hands-on, minds-on inquiry. Applications due March 31st.

The Globe at Night program is an international citizen-science campaign to raise public awareness of the impact of light pollution by inviting citizen-scientists to measure their night sky brightness and submit their observations from a computer or smart phone. Globe at Night measurements can be taken from anywhere in the world!

Scouts can work toward a variety of science-related badges or one of Arizona Science Center’s science themed patches. Meet scouts from other troops and enjoy the Science Center's lively atmosphere as you work towards completing a badge or patch in just two hours.

Zoom! Zoom! Children will have a blast designing and decorating their own AIRmazing airplane made out of craft sticks and clothespins.
Join us every Thursday from 1pm to 2pm, and again from 4pm to 5pm for demonstrations of our 3D equipment: 3D printing with the MakerBot Replicator 2, and 3D design with zSpace, a holographic computing environment.
